Green Pennywort

Green Pennywort is one of the few aquarium plants on the market that originate from Europe, where it grows on the banks of streams and lakes. It is a hardy and tolerant plant which will grow in a variety of conditions, which makes it very easy to grow in aquariums.

Difficulty

Easy to keep. Grows easily in aquariums.

Placement

Midground to background placement in the aquarium.  It will grow to the waters surface. Can be pruned to desired height.

Growth Rate

Slow growth rate and enjoys nutrient rich substrate, although not essential. Green Pennywort bunches will utilise nutrients in the water column in the form of liquid fertilisation.

Lighting

Green Pennywort requires high lighting requirements for strong healthy growth and to encourage flowering at the waters surface.
